Half Alive Records - HAR-001 - 1986
First flexi ep from Re Zist, previously featured here on the Fledgling Punx compilation.
Music is mid tempo to fast japanese hardcore with a muddy noisy production and lots of reverb.
Vocals are high pitched and when not paying attention you might think Re Zist had a female vocalist, which is not the case when you look closely to the band members pictures. Cool sounding flexi though...
Re Zist also released a second ep in 1987 called "マザー・オブ・パール / Mother Of Pearl" which was apparently going in a more Goth/Glam direction, never got the chance to hear it yet.

Half Alive Records have unforgettable logo picture. Very, very cool and funny little angel/Cupid walks with gallows and not the "love arrows", heh. Or maybe the unhappy angel just wants to kill himself to end the suffering of dull living.
Feels like it is pure irony of some kind...
